چکیده

Background: Diabetes is a chronic metabolic disorder and has become the one of most challenging global health problem 21 st centuary. Diabetic nephropathy major complication diabetes an established risk factor for cardiovascular events. Lipid abnormalities occur in patients with diabetic nephropathy, which further increase their We aimed to research association between extended lipid profile urine albumin-creatinine ratio (UACR), hypothesizing that early detection treatment can minimize atherogenic cerebrovascular accident type 2 mellitus. Methods: A hospital based cross- sectional study was conducted on 48 All fasting blood glucose (FBG), HbA1c, total cholesterol (TC), high density lipoprotein (HDL), low (LDL), triglyceride (TG), apolipoprotein-A (apo-A), apolipoprotein-B (apo-B), (a){Lp(a)} urine-albumin creatinine (UACR) evaluated. Patients taking steroids, any renal disease other than uncontrolled hypertension were excluded from study. Based UACR level divided into three sub groups: normal (<30 mg/g), microalbumiuria (30-300 mg/g) macroalbuminuria (>30 mg/g). Comparison subgroups made using non parametric test (Kruskal Willis Test). Fisher’s exact used explore profile. Result: 20.8% had UACR<30 mg/g, 54.2% UACR:30-300 25.0% UACR:≥300 mg/g; 62.5% Lipoprotein(a): <30 mg/dl 37.5% > 30 mg/g. Significant found · 100.0% [UACR: mg/g] [Lipoprotein-a: <30mg/dL]. 57.7% 30-300 mg/dL]. 42.3% ≥30 41.7% >300 58.3% Conclusion: The showed resulting raised significant increased (a) consequently atherosclerotic (ASCVD). Since Lipoprotein(a) investigation not widely available, accessible varied estimation technique, be as marker ASCVD place DM.

Oxidized LDL is Correlated with Urine Albumin in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus: A Case-Control Study

Objective: In patients with diabetes mellitus, increased rate of lipoprotein oxidation and oxidative stress have important role in diabetic angiopathy, including nephropathy. We designed a study for comparing the level of Ox-LDL in diabetic patients with Macro-albuminuria, Micro-albuminuria, versus Normo-albuminuric. Materials and Methods: One hundred and thirty five patients with type 2 dia...

Comparison between different methods of urine collection for estimation of albumin-creatinine ratio in patients with type-2 diabetes mellitus

In patients with diabetes mellitus, urinary albumincreatinine-ratio (ACR) predicts progressive kidney disease. In order to determine the better urine sample for detecting ACR, we estimated ACR in three modes of urine sample. Two hundred patients of uncontrolled diabetes mellitus with proteinuria irrespective of age and sex were studied for urinary ACR in all the three types of samples over a pe...

Urine albumin to creatinine ratio-response to exercise in diabetes.

Albuminuria was studied in 40 diabetic children before and after a standardised exercise test, and also in 21 normal children; the results are expressed as geometric mean (95% range) of urine albumin:urine creatinine ratio (mg/mg). There was no significant difference between the mean resting albumin:creatinine ratio in the two groups, or between these ratios before and after exercise in the nor...

The Association between Urine Albumin to Creatinine Ratio and Osteoporosis in Postmenopausal Women with Type 2 Diabetes

BACKGROUND Osteoporosis is a progressive bone disease that is characterized by a decrease in bone mass density and destruction of microstructure, which can lead to an increased risk of fracture. Although many studies have been published about the relationship between end-stage renal disease and osteoporosis, research on the relationship between proteinuria and the prevalence of osteoporosis is ...

Tissue Doppler Imaging Findings and Lipid Profile Changes in Diabetes Mellitus Type I Children

Background Diabetes mellitus type I (DMTI) is one of the most common endocrine and metabolic conditions in childhood. We aimed to assess the tissue Doppler imagining changes in children with DMTI compared to healthy children. Materials and Methods This case-control study was performed on 96 DMTI and 96 healthy children. The d...
